Merchandise Policy

As a member of Metro, it is important that you abide by the team's merchandise requirements. Below, you will find information on how to order and purchase merchandise, what merchandise is required, how often you need to purchase it. Metro is sponsored by TYR so please buy TYR gear when at all possible.

How to order and purchase merchandise: The Metro Team Store

Online Store

Our online store has all available merchandise, including personalized items like backpack and warmups. We carry swimsuits and gear your swimmer may need including, but not limited to, goggles, kickboards, and fins. You will need to set up an account with a new username and password.

Note: Please allow 10 business days for each custom order to be completed (plus applicable shipping time). Payment is processed within 1-2 business days from when the order is submitted.

Physical Store

Lovejoy location:

  • Click on the team store button above to find location hours. Our store is volunteer run so hours can change.
  • Most online merchandise is available for sale (except backpacks and warm ups, which are personalized).
  • Merchandise can also be purchased online and then picked up at the Lovejoy Store. 
  • Swimmers may try on warmups and suits at Lovejoy to find their size.
  • Spirit wear can be picked up here (unless personalized).

Required Merchandise

  • Team Suit : Order within one month of joining Metro and then purchase once a year
  • Team Backpack: Order within three months of joining Metro and then purchase every 3 years
  • Team Warmups or Parka: Order within six months of joining Metro and then purchase every 3 years
  • Spirit Wear Package: These items are automatically billed at joining and near the start of each calendar year

Swimmers who qualify for Olympic trials, Senior Nationals and Junior Nationals receive warmups for free ONLY IF compliant with the merchandise policy.

Gear at meets:

  • After the initial joining period, only Metro team gear can be worn at meets (unless sizes are not available).
  • If a swimmer is not in compliance, they will not be allowed to swim. This gear includes a team suit, backpack, and warm-up. 
  • Swim caps can only have Metro logos.
  • Tech suits: Since Metro is sponsored by TYR, please purchase only TYR tech suits

Product will be embroidered with the swimmer's name and Metro logo. 

Team Warmups

Jackets are embroidered with the swimmer's name and Metro logo. 

Spirit Wear Package 

       Spiritwear will automatically charged for every February.

When you join you pre-pay for your first set of spiritwear. 

The "Welcome" email you received from the Newcomer chair after joining will have details on how to order the spiritwear.
